What this tool is
EU Readiness is an AI-assisted decision-support tool. It reads photographs of your food packaging and produces a structured report indicating likely gaps against EU Regulation 1169/2011 and related EU food labelling rules. The output is grounded in cited regulatory text but is generated by a large language model and may be incomplete or incorrect.
What this tool is not
- It is not legal advice. It does not establish a lawyer–client relationship and is not regulated legal services under Czech Act No. 85/1996 Coll.
- It is not a certificate of compliance. It does not bind any EU national competent authority, border control post or notified body.
- It is not a substitute for a full label review by a qualified regulatory affairs professional or food law attorney before commercial release.
No liability assumed
Kvagga s.r.o. assumes no liability of any kind in connection with your use of this Service or any decision made in reliance on its output. The contractual limitation of liability and the duty to engage qualified professionals are set out in full in our Terms of Service.
Who is responsible for the label
Under Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, the food business operator responsible for the food information is the operator under whose name or business name the food is marketed (or, if not established in the Union, the importer placing the food on the EU market). That responsibility cannot be transferred to an audit tool, an AI provider, or to Kvagga s.r.o.
Photographs and AI processing
Photographs you upload are transmitted to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, PBC) located in the United States for inference. They are not retained on Kvagga's servers after the audit completes. See the Privacy Policy for details, including transfer safeguards.
Limitations you should expect
- The tool cannot read what is not visible in the photographs.
- It cannot verify supplier declarations, allergen risk-assessment data, or analytical certificates.
- It does not assess product safety, microbiology, residues, or contaminant compliance.
- It may misread small print, glare, reflective surfaces or non-Latin scripts.
- Regulations and Member State rules change. Always confirm against the current consolidated text on EUR-Lex and applicable national derogations.
